Omnia collection

An eye to the future

In addition to being an essential and characterising value of a business, innovation also represents the means by which a company can offer its own interpretation of the world and its evolution.

In its own way, Ponte Giulio too has tried over time to engage in this noble mission, in the interpretation of its vision of an inclusive and accessible bathroom environment, modern and designer but safe and essential. The principles of Life Caring Design, elaborated over time by Ponte Giulio, envisage a bathroom environment configured to generate sensations of wellbeing and comfort, a place where everyone, regardless of age, sex, culture, or psycho-physical impediments, is free to take care of their own intimacy in complete autonomy.

It is precisely on these themes that our new collection, soon to be launched at Cersaie 2022, the annual highlight for the bathroom furnishing sector, is developed.

OMNIA, this is the name of the project, intends to continue what was introduced with HUG, a collection also presented in Bologna a few years ago, proposing solutions that combine a simple and modern design with a sense of safety and solidity, to make the bathroom a welcoming and pleasant place both to live in and to see.

Born from the collaboration between the in-house technical department and designer Daniele Trebbi, already the creator of the HUG collection, Omnia does not mark a break with Ponte Giulio's past, but rather an evolution; the collection has several pluses that make it particularly innovative. Beginning with the partnership with Olympia Ceramica, giving rise to a relationship of shared expertise and know-how that has allowed us to imagine a complete bathroom. From sanitary ware to accessories, from aids to washbasins... the collection presents its entire vision of the environment, leaving nothing to chance, even allowing itself to introduce a few technological 'gems'.

Help-system brings the bathroom into the first phase of the IOT (internet-of-things) era: interconnected sensors fitted on bars and other accessories allow the user to call for help and call pre-set telephone contacts, increasing the degree of safety in the bathroom without violating the intimacy that characterises it.

Safety-air-system increases the functionality of the Omnia mirror, which also becomes a means of sanitising the air. The back of the mirror houses a sanitising system that uses photocatalysis to purify the air and surfaces, removing mould, bacteria and unpleasant odours.

Solutions therefore designed to meet everyday needs with the eyes of the future. So, what's next?

Ponte Giulio will be present in Bologna at the next edition of the Cersaie exhibition
