Ponte Giulio showcased its brand new furnishing system "hug" at Cersaie, the international exhibition for ceramic tiles and bathroom furnishings in Bologna, Italy - which closed its doors on Friday, 29th September
The exhibition and the team was thrilled with the strong positive response to the system from visitors, installers, professionals and journalists. A total of 111,000 visitors attended the fair, with 58,422 from Italy and 53,182 from all around the world. The collection comprises of grab rails, seats, bathroom furnishings, shower trays, washbasins and shower enclosures to offer the bathroom space a fresh look and feel in an intimate and comfortable setting.
The grab rails are a prominent feature of the "hug" collection offering a safe and functional contemporary design. They are also versatile, coming in vertical and horizontal shapes that match perfectly with mirrors, furniture, containers and washbasins. The grab rails are available in stylish new colours and finishes including aubergine, copper, lime, satin and bright stainless steel. Additional options include a grey dotted design and a red dotted print with white. The grab rails have been designed to fit beautifully with seats and chairs and also compliment the design of shelves and containers which come in coral red, graphite grey and warm white.
Another key feature of the "hug" collection is the seat range. Seats are available with or without a back-rest, boasting a subtle retro design to make them suitable for both classic and modern installations. The seat and back rest inserts are created in polyurethane and come in coral red, graphite grey and warm white colours. The structural parts of the seats have been constructed in stainless steel to perfectly match the grab rails colours. "hug" also offers furnishing items such as wall-mounted cupboards in three different finishes; silk grey, mid blue and pure white. Also available are mirrored cupboards, single and double drawers for under-basin installation and mirrors with built-in lights to add those all-important finishing touches.
Finally, the "hug" collection also offers shower trays in marmite and washbasins in the same material with a left or right hand counter top and drawers. In addition to this, shower enclosures with split or sliding doors and towel hooks and roll holders are available.
